How we evaluate products

Read the full methodology
  1. 01

    Define the decision

We start from the buying question, not the product list: what a reader is actually choosing between, and which specifications change that outcome.

  2. 02

    Collect the evidence

Manufacturer specifications and documentation, standards or regulatory information where relevant, retailer data, and public technical resources.

  3. 03

    Compare and state limits

We normalise claims into comparable figures, note where numbers are unverified, and say plainly when a product has not been physically tested.
